Yeah right. Basketball players get better each year starting from high school.
LBJ is the GOAT. MJ played in a weak era.
MJ's gambling past is relevant because "greatness" is not only measured in stats but character also. The stats on how many people Ted Bundy killed would rate him as a great serial killer. Scoring a lot of points only means the player is a ball hog. Bill Russell won a ring his first year and 11 of his 13 years. If MJ was so great why did his team only win a championship in his 7th year? By his 7th year, Russell already 5 championships. Also Russell had to endure severe racial prejudice during the early part of his tenure, a debt that both MJ and LBJ owe to their early racial pioneers. To me greatness is not simply a matter of ego-centric behavior, but being a leader of high moral character, which MJ severely lacked. With all these high-school murders, the athletes who receive millions of dollars are only setting an example to teenagers of the me-first mentally with the loser dying. Rather than ranking who is the best basketball player of all-time (me-first mentally), I relate more to who has done more to promote a work ethnic and team spirit. America does not need any more murders in schools because of athletes with low moral values.
Why are you even on this site if all you do is complain about everything and ride MJ's dick?
oh you're so nice :p
i deleted it. sry i dont think he read it though.
Hey Daniel, I am writing a paper on your article "Comparing MJ and Lebron's first 9 seasons" for a writing class and I was wondering if I could have your last name. The teacher requires it in order for me to get credit. I know it's unprofessional by asking you through the bulletin board but I couldn't find another way to contact you.
