About Fred »

Born and raised in Toronto, I have a passion for all the native Hog Town teams.

I am crazy for Toronto FC, hold season tickets and have followed the team around the North East to Columbus, Chicago, New York, Montreal... I hope to increase the exposure of the MLS with my articles here on BR.

I have watched my Blue Jays win two World Series titles, and watched my Leafs win nada. Still love em both.

I started watching the NFL in the eighties and between the Fridge, McMahon, and Walter Payton, I became hooked on the Bears for life. I rocked the house with my Bears on Tecmo Bowl, and still do on Madden.

I am an experienced Fantasy Football guy and (still) play in one of the oldest and most competitive leagues in Toronto; we were two QB and IDP in 2003.

I studied English Lit and History at the University of Victoria, and presently reside in Vancouver, British Columbia.
