Kody's Bio

I am a live and die football fan From Little Elm, Texas. I love Texas Longhorn football and Dallas Cowboys football. I have very high hopes for both teams and Will be very opinionated when writing about either one. But other than that, I love to watch football 24/7.

  1. Hey Kody,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Kody!

  2. This was a heartbreaker to be sure. I'm talking TX-OU. OU wins 28-21 when everyone...me included and every other Horns fan thought we would get drilled. Horns had their chances...if you told me it would be 21-21 with 14:57 in the fourth...I would've taken that gladly. I have to give credit where credit is due...Sam Bradford looks very poised and confident...he doesn't make mistakes and has a confidence that can inspire a team. OU is still in the hunt.

I don't know whether I would've prefered an ass-kicking to losing such a tight game. I never thought I would've been nervous, chain smoking and breaking bottles in the fourth quarter of this game. Penalties and Jamal FUCKING Charles killed Texas. I'm tired of his fumbling and am eagerly holding the door for his ass to be gone. Colt McCoy showed some true toughness the way he played considering he took a cheap shot early that wasn't flagged and kept playing. Take into consideration he was a week off of a concussion and that kid showed me something. A loss is a loss and I don't subscribe to the magazine of "moral victories." BUT...at least this Texas team didn't lay down and take it like the Chris Simms teams did. McCoy might not ever regain what he had going last year before he took that stinger in the KState game but he's a tough bastard that I respect.

  3. Happy to help man. And as much as it pains me to say it as a Niner fan, I agree with you--the Cowboys are for real this year and surprisingly aren't getting much due. Could it be because TO isn't acting like a crazy person and is just playing good football, Bill Parcells isn't cussing anyone out, and there's not controversy but just a good team?

  4. Kody, I think you and I were separated at birth. Hopefully we can watch a Longhorns/Cowboys game at some point before we die. Good man.
