Ben's Bio

My name is Ben, I'm a 20 year old rising sophomore at Saint Louis University. I am an avid Cardinals, Colts, and Tim Duncan fan. Yeah, that's right: Tim Duncan, the least entertaining, but still one of the best players in the league. You can contact me at bweixlmann@stlsportscenter.com

I just recently was named a Senior Writer, within one month of joining B/R, so I feel honored for that.

I was quoted in ESPN (6/23/2008)

I have also opened a blog at CardinalTwist.com check me out!

Pick of the Day Award (8/8/08)

Proud to have my work on http://www.sportsline.com/mlb (9/3/2008), under Related Links, "Top FAs", linked right next to JJ Stankevitz.

I have a column called Ben's Ballers at Hoops4life.com. I hope you like the articles! Comments/Posts are appreciated and encouraged!

Proud to have his article about "MLB Power Rankings" displayed on cbssportsline.com (9/23/2008)!

  6. Ben,

St. Louis needed offensive firepower so they pulled the trigger on Matt Holliday. It was needed, but here's a need that I think should have been addressed first. Take a look if you get the chance.
