Ben's Bio

My name is Ben, I'm a 20 year old rising sophomore at Saint Louis University. I am an avid Cardinals, Colts, and Tim Duncan fan. Yeah, that's right: Tim Duncan, the least entertaining, but still one of the best players in the league. You can contact me at bweixlmann@stlsportscenter.com

I just recently was named a Senior Writer, within one month of joining B/R, so I feel honored for that.

I was quoted in ESPN (6/23/2008)

I have also opened a blog at CardinalTwist.com check me out!

My newest blog is in connection with MLB.com, at http://cardinaltwist.mlblogs.com/ Check it out, show some love!

  8. senior writer after only a month?? impressive

  9. Haha, I was just thinking how long it had been since I had written something for the Cardinals. I've gotten caught up in NFL preseason.

And even though I sometimes have the label "Top Writer", I sure don't feel like it!

  10. Thanks a million for the comments and the vote. I am excited to be here. I report news for a living but love sports. Because im not a sportscaster im here as a fan and will do everything within my ability to help legitimize Bleacher Report!

  11. Hey big dog,

First off, I don't know if we should be necessarily applying heat on writers. I know I personally am moving to school in a couple days so I'm EXTRA busy. I know others are starting school too. Plus, look at your own writing. The Olympics are big right now. It'll pick back up, and I know my writing will increase once I get settled in at the 'Zou.

    Pete

  12. Glad you liked it. Hope I didn't make a fool of myself with the entry lol...

  13. Thanks for the add Ben!

  14. Yeah, I've been waiting to hear back from Brett Wallace to see if he'd do a quick Q&A with me. I think I may change gears and see if Rasmus will give me one.

  15. Ben,

My man! Congrats on the big 200!
