My name is Ben, I'm a 20 year old rising sophomore at Saint Louis University. I am an avid Cardinals, Colts, and Tim Duncan fan. Yeah, that's right: Tim Duncan, the least entertaining, but still one of the best players in the league. You can contact me at bweixlmann@stlsportscenter.com

Hey Ben, looking for a little input, I have noticed with many writers the amount of posting links to their "new" articles on MANY other writers boards, you have many here, and I am asking you since you are a senior writer and you also do the same. OK, the deal...we have an actual Pennsylvania Sprint Car driver in contention for a title...writing here on B/R.

Zander, Mike Napier and I huddled up and we kinda talked him into journaling the rest of his season here on B/R.

I know racing isn't your game (the Sprint Cars are huge in YOUR neighborhood btw) but I want you to take a look at his stuff as it comes out and after myself and other piston-heads edit it for proper publishing.

His writing chops are like a RH middle reliever and need work, work, work as you can see by the recent revisions.

BUT...the core of his thought process is good and once properly spaced you can see his potential eking out a bit.

With your Baseball and re-cap skills you can be both dispassionate and objective while editing for quality.

We don't get many, if any, actual participants/competitors writing on B/R and if we can keep him at it and keep it high quality, it might draw another, bigger name down the road.

You never know, think about it before you decline out of hand.
