Nicholas's Bio
My name is Nick Pardini, I am a college student attending University of California Santa Barbara who studies Business Economics. I host the podcast Rational Rants with Nick Pardini (http://commonsensemag.com/feed/podcast for the feed), and am the main contributor to my website, Common Sense Magazine (www.commonsensemag.com) where I write about politics, sports, and finance. The sports that I primarily write about are the NBA, Major League Baseball, College Football, and college basketball. I tend to think outside the lines, and I like to investigate how sports interesects with politics, economics, and societal issues and identify how events in the sporting world affect society as a whole. My favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Angels, and UCLA basketball. Outside of media work, I like to play golf, fence, travel, and bodyboard.
