Chicago Cubs Offseason Analysis
11/23/2009
I am a huge sports fan who spends most of his focus on Chicago Cubs baseball and Duke Blue Devils basketball. I like to provide the reader with quality information that they would find useful. I like to write Game Recaps, Opinion, and Breaking News articles. I get extremely busy when the MLB Trade Deadline rolls around, as I provide a daily round-up of rumors around the league.
I wrote this morning about a possible solution to the problem of Granderson's struggles against lefties, and I encourage you to read. Still, it's no sure-fire...
Michael Ashkenasi replied…
The Cubs should just bite the bullet and do the following: 1) Bradley for Burrell. Cubs...
Matt, thanks for your kind words. I totally agree with you on the changing plans. Earlier it was Chone Figgins, then Luis Castillo, now Curtis Granderson....
David Kreiman replied…
Yep - you are right about Bradley. Hopefully they can get something back for him. Would...
Ben Calloway replied…
Absolutely. Of course they would have to come at the right price though.
I'm fine w/ Marmol closing and if Lou can live w/ Bradley, I can, even if he starts sporadically. Our biggest need is someone who can...
With rumors spreading and the off-season well under way, I felt it was time to discuss a few of potential moves for the Chicago Cubs...
Highest payroll in the league? No. The Cubs don't have the highest payroll in the NL, and are far behind the Yankees in the AL.
Hello Ben, I would like you to take a look at this article and leave your support in the comment area. I would love to see this story make a difference. Pass it around! Thanks

It's no problem at all. I apologize if I came off as a bit harsh, but I do that to try and push each writer to their fullest potential. If you'd like me to look at anything else in the future, just link it on my bulletin board. Good luck to you.

In spite of this, breaking news is supposed to be analyzed, not just reported in a cut and dry style. The article was barely long enough to be used on a ticker at the bottom of a sports show. My point is this. If you're only going to break the story and not go into any details or analyze it in any way, it's not going to get a high rating by any editor or an abundance of reads.
