I've been writing or covering sports since I was a senior in high school, covering high school sports for the local newspaper. Sports have been a passion of mine ever since I was five years old. It was a father-and-son thing before my father passed away. Living in the sunshine state, I rooted for the Miami Dolphins ever since the twilight years of the Marino/Shula era and have had the opportunity to watch a team from its inceptive first pitch in the Tampa Bay Rays.

During college I had the opportunity to co-create and co-host a local sports talk program on a local radio station, which opened the gateway to covering professional sports. During those three years I had the opportunity to interview players such as Wayne Gretzky, Kobe Bryant, Brett Favre, Ryan Howard, Tim Duncan, LaDainian Tomlinson, Derek Jeter, among many others. It was, and still is, an opportunity of a lifetime.

I also was one of the last students to hold the position of Sports Information Director for a NCAA D-III institution and help oversee their web-based development and the start up of streaming games.

I currently am married and reside in southcentral Wisconsin and am pursuing my Masters.
