I'm Joe, 28, native Manitoban currently living in Calgary. I've been a lifelong Montreal Canadiens' fan, but my adoration of Jarome Iginla exceeds my worship of any one particular Hab. I have yet to be able to attend a Flames' game in Calgary, but nonetheless, being in the very city where my favorite player is revered as a god is a nice switch from Manitoba.

I enjoy watching Montreal games on the RDS channel (pretty much the only thing that channel's good for), as well as any Flames and Oilers games on Sportsnet with my Oiler fan roommate. I don't really take a hard line in the Battle of Alberta though...while I like to see Iggy excel in them, I appreciate the young talent coming up in Edmonton and enjoy watching them.

I also am a participant in 4 online keeper fantasy hockey leagues, and my imaginary GMing duties keep me busy and lead to a lot of wasted time online. But it helps give me an additional vested interest in each hockey season by forcing me to keep tabs on the game's emerging young players and test my eye for talent.

Always up for a good chat with any hockey fan about any aspect of the game that I love.
