About

I'm the owner and editor in chief of TJRWrestling.com, a website dedicated to professional wrestling. I am a diehard pro wrestling (mostly WWE) and sports fan in my early 30s that loves writing about wrestling from a fan's perspective. The wrestling business will always be fun to me. I'm a passionate fan that has loved the business since 1987. I hope you enjoy my work.

While writing at the Bleacher Report, I plan on writing exclusive articles for other B/R wrestling fans while also delving into sports once in a while.

Speaking of sports, I'm a diehard sports fan from southern Ontario (let's just say "near Toronto" to make it easier). Unlike most Canadians, my biggest passions are the NFL, NBA and MLB. I like hockey just fine, but I'm not crazy about it. If the government finds out they might deport me for it. As a child in the 80s my favorite teams were the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers. I liked the Rams mainly because they were the favorite team of my older cousin, plus I must have really thought the goggle and jheri curl of Eric Dickerson was happening. Of course, he got traded to the Colts about a year after I started watching, but I didn't care. I learned about the Rams and they became my team. For over twenty years now I've suffered through many bad season, but it was worth it to see them win it all at Super Bowl 34 in Atlanta.

With the Lakers the appeal was Magic Johnson. He had this incredible aura about him. The kind of star power that draws people in. I'd say that I like the Raptors more today because they're the local team and I think there's a lot of joy in watching a team rise up the ranks to the top although I still support the Lakers too. It's the only sport where I have two teams that I root for.

Thanks for reading.

Oh you're the guy who writes for TJR? That's awesome. I was going through some of your earlier Wrestlemania reviews. Is Bret Hart vs Steve Austin still your favorite match?
