David's Bio
I am a graduate of the University of Florida with both a BS and MS in Decision and Information Sciences. I lived my entire life in Florida up until January, 2008 when I moved to Charlotte, NC for a job. I was born and raised a Gator, and still remain a devoted Gator to this day.
I run the blog year2.wordpress.com and have had opinion articles published in the Orlando Sentinel in the past. I also had a Bleacher Report post picked up by FoxSports.com, which was really cool.

Hey David, thanks for the book suggestions!
Basically, my convergence curriculum is designed to give me skills in print, broadcast, radio, and, most importantly, online journalism. It's the most versatile journalism degree offered by journalism schools, as it emphasizes learning how to use technology to enhance your work, whether that be by podcast, online video, or any other form of online journalism. I'll get a better feel for it when I complete my fundamentals of convergence class next fall...

Hi David-- great article on the BCS vote. I was disappointed more people haven't picked up on it, because it is an important issue. May I make a suggestion to your title that could possibly help searchers and garner more readers? What about something like "WHY did the BCS vote "NO" on "No Plus One" for NCAA Football?" You could also add "Commissioners" after BCS. Anyway, it's just a thought. Good writing-- PaT
