Earned Ph.D. on Science and Philosophical Approaches to Literature. I am a life-long researcher in Post-ontological Epistemology, 2nd Order Cybernetics, Post-Marxist Politics, and Post-humanist literature.
------------------------
Equally, I am a tennis enthusiast. My favorite players are usually aggressive, flat hard hitters, and fast pace, long rhythmic baseliners.
-------------------------------
I coined my pen name Xeno-philous to reflect my character.
Xenophilous is opposite of xenophobe. It is one who likes everything foreign, one that is not native, peoples, manners, cultures, foods, music, etc. In the context of sports, I try to like players that I do not like or did not like in the past. One of my every day goals in life is to try to find a way to like something I don’t/ didn’t like.
The hyphenation in the name is used as precaution that I may not be able to always live up to the promise that the name suggests.
------------------------------
I am excited about Sports and STEM (=Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), a recently initiated section of Bleacher Report , where scientists, scholars, and philosophers can reflect on sports.

I have a moderate goal of maintaining Average Reads of 2,000 (my current average stands at 2,200+, excluding my Babe article's 41, 000+ Reads), and eventually I hope to reach 3,000 Reads per article. Currently, if you include the Babe article, my average Read stands at 4300.
I have received 80 comments per article in average, but in the last nine articles, the average has been 120. I have averaged 11 Likes per article, and in the last 6 six articles, the average is 16+.
These numbers inspire me to do better.
Currently, I've been focusing more on content than on ornamenting my prose style. Hopefully, one day, I will learn to achieve the balance.

Hello, I am back, if not quite writing wise. As a way of practicing sports writing about tennis again, I posted one on US Open 2010 draw, sort of quick draw review.
Then I followed it by 3 creative and 1 Score, 1 Recap, articles.
My average stat has picked up sooner than I expected, above 2,000 Reads.,
In the 6 articles since my return, I received 732 comments (122 per article in average). Three of them are rated among the 5 Most Commented.
Averaging 13 Likes per article is just icing on the cake.
The outcome is encouraging. Credit to readers and fans. I bow to you.
Hello my friend, Got banned again, me and "Guess who back aka Rafa just do not get along" So to avoid being banned I will ignore him. Good to see your back writing especially after Federer beat Nadal 6/3 6/0. aka Andrew Williams

Hey Xeno, where've you been?
How are you my friend?
Hey Xeno,
I've just posted a story about the global evolution of tennis and the increasing popularity of the sport. I've put a lot of time and effort into it, and I'd be really grateful to get any feedback you have.
If you get a chance to check it out, that would be great.

Thanks,

Sorry Xeno, I've been really busy with school.
I've read your articles your posted, they're all good as always.
I'm still a bit disappointed that Roger's not in the Finals, but he can't win everything/
Xeno, Here is the address: I want to write an article but it just invites me to fill out a writer application. I don't want to do that. I had almost 5,000 reads on my last article and am considered a Correspondent.

Have a great day!
Have been OK. Will probably take a mini-break from B/R after AO to study.
