About Mike »

Mike Lewis is a Broadcast-Journalism major at Penn State University, University Park Campus. He will graduate in the Spring of 2011. He began writing for The Bleacher Report on July 20, 2009. In addition to writing for The Bleacher Report, Mike is also a sports columnist for The Sentinel of Gloucester County, which is a community newspaper in New Jersey and a co-host on The Wolf Pack, which is a sports talk show that airs on comradio and streams on comradio.psu.edu. It is on Thursday nights from 9-10 pm.
In addition to sports, Mike is also a reporter for local events in his community and a film critique for The Sentinel. He is also a stand-up comedian, a host for Phroth radio, and a comedy writer for Phroth. Phroth is Penn State's premier humor publication.
Mike grew up about 20 minutes from South Philadelphia in the suburbs of Washington Township, NJ. He has been a diehard Philadelphia sports fan all of his life. He has been a student at Penn State Main Campus ever since transferring from Saint Joseph's University midway through his Freshman year of college in 2007-08. His greatest sports memories so far are the Phillies' World Series Championship and parade, having season tickets for last year's Penn State Men's football Big Ten Championship season, rushing the court on the buzzer-beating win in men's basketball vs. Illinois, going to countless Philly sports games for all four teams, and just growing up rooting for Penn State and Philly sports teams.
