All-Time Sports Moment
2007 Stanley Cup Finals. Game 5. DUCKS WIN. Best hockey team of the last ten years.
-
Most Memorable Game Attended
Raptors-Jazz game, March 2005. First live sporting event I've been. Ever. Raptors won.
-
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
Wayne Gretzky's Points Total (Mark Messier is 2nd behind him and he doesn't even have as much points as Gretzky has assists)
-
Ruth or Mays?
Ruth. Just thought of him as a more entertaining figure and icon.
-
Unitas or Montana?
Montana. Won when it counted the most: the playoffs. And the Superbowl. Can't argue against a winner.
-
Jordan or Russell?
Jordan. He carried the NBA and pro sports to new heights and is a global icon.
-
Gretzky or Orr?
Gretzky. Love Orr but can't deny Gretzky's immense talent and accomplishments especially for a guy who wasn't physically dominant to begin with.
-
Pele or Maradona?
Maradona. Pele's better achievement-wise but I found Maradona's celebrity transcended more.
-
Federer or Sampras?
The Fed. Career grand slam and dominant in all surfaces. Sampras couldn't get it done in clay.
-
Tiger or Nicklaus?
Tiger. Might not have as pristine of a personal record but will break Nicklaus's record and set new ones.
-
Petty or Earnhardt?
Earnhardt. As decorated as Petty but more badass
-
Schumacher or Senna?
Schumacher. GOAT of F1. Also unfair to compare someone who never finished their career at their own erms.
-
ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?
ACC for basketball. Duke-UNC rivalry is historic. Pac-12. Not as prestigious as the SEC or Bigs but has a pretty entertaining history.
