Eddie's Bio

I was born and raised in Mississippi, and have been a Mississippi State fan through good times and bad. I went to school at Florida State, and now I live in south Texas.

I'm a full-time sports writer/blogger, and you can find me on the two blogs that I run, The Red Zone Report (http://www.theredzonereport.com), and NCAA Baseball Report (http://www.ncaabaseballreport.com), and also on Soccerlens (http://www.soccerlens.com).

First and foremost though, I'm a sports fan-atic to the nth degree, from the NFL, to college baseball, to soccer, and everything in between.

  1. Hey

just writing to tell you that I am no longer writing for Bleacher Report. I have embarked on several new ventures of my own and they are in direct conflict content-wise with BR.

Two of my blogs (mrflushing.com and blognyg.com) have been incorporated into the Yardbarker network and and a third one - ny giant nation - is being run by sportsblognet.com

I also bought into a sports video site that is in its infancy - smackcaster.com - which we are still developing....

  4. Eddie, I'm not in firefox today so here's some editor's feedback.

Great article! I tweaked your headline, separated some paragraphs, and edited for style. I noticed that the article was originally published somewhere else, so only keep the changes you want—I don't want it to mess up what you have written somewhere else. Keep up the awesome work!

  5. Hey Eddie,

Couldn't help but notice that you are a fellow State fan. Since we've been through the rough times together, mind looking at some of the stuff I've written to cover our Dawgs? Let me know what you think, cause I'm always up for some critiquing.

    Have a good one, man.
