Growing up in Los Angeles, I have gotten to enjoy the best that sports has to offer. Whether it was watching the Lakers, Dodgers or Kings, I always had an exciting team to follow. Now studying Journalism at the University of Arizona, I am lucky enough to be a part of a great sports school with tremendous history.

I realized I wanted to be a sports analyst/ broadcaster when I was about 8-years-old after my dad took me to one of my first Dodgers games. We left the game an inning early to beat the rush of the crowd (one of the only games I have regrettably left early). My dad turned on the radio to hear Vin Scully call the remainder of the game. Needless to say, I was mesmerized.

Since then, my passion for sports and for sports journalism has driven my work ethic, and everyday I work harder and harder towards my dream of eventually being paid to talk about sports.

If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough.
