About

Im a 22 year old political science, philosophy major at the University of Maryland. Im originally from Houston, TX. I'm a die hard Texas Tech fan, but also like Maryland sports. I like Villanova college basketball as well. For pro sports I kind of just pick players I like and follow the teams, but I'm an Arizona Cardinal football fan, Houston Rocket basketball fan, and Tampa Bay Ray baseball fan. However in basketball I also root for whatever team Stephen Jackson is on.

Somebody is speaking on the Seahawks that doesn't actually watch the Seahawks. Sherman already tore the league up after the ped fiasco and the only thing that "bounced" our way was one play in the GB game.
The Seahawks finished the regular season better than any team has since 1941,
yeah 1941 without Browner and his back up.
#1 scoring defense and a potent offense
Hawks have the 2nd youngest starters in the NFL, only behind the Chiefs.
Of course there's some assumption, that's what the off season mostly is,
but the Hawks are for real, keep hating. We LOVE IT.
And as for assuming growth, we finished 7-1, no growth needed.
Stick to your team and things you know, keep hating
    Just another bitter skins fan,
did I mention the Hawks are 18 mil under the cap?
Enjoy cutting the little bit of talent you have outside of Griffin.

Well I would say my opinion(as well as 99% of Ags that I talk to) is that A&M is doing what is best for us. Joining the SEC is something that many schools would like to do despite the fact that the competition is so tough. We are not afraid of any challenge and we will succeed because we feel the increased exposure will help with our recruiting and with the name recognition of our school. We have received a lot of criticism about our choice, but you would do it if you could too, right? A&M has been trying to work out the differences among the members of the Big 12 for long enough. After being lied to by Texas multiple times, we simply no longer consider them to be trustworthy business partners.

As President Bowen Loftin said last year(before NEB and CU bolted) "We are committed to the Big 12 as it currently is." We were committed, then domino 1 & 2 fell and we started exploring other options. The remaining 10 agreed that it was best to continue the Big 10 as long as certain things happened.

Several things that were agreed on:
$20 Million for A&M, UT, and OU
1 non-conference game can be televised by the LHN.
no conference game will be televised by the LHN.

As you can tell, all 3 of these promises were broken(or attempted to be broken)

Since Loftin added that "as it currently is" at the end of his statement, he was no longer bound to that when Neb and CU left the Big 12.

The Aggie Honor Code States "An Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal, OR TOLERATE THOSE WHO DO."

we simple cannot tolerate the longhorns lying anymore. With that said, The Aggies have publicly stated that we wish to continue playing the longhorns, so it is up to them.

those are my thoughts on the SEC. any Questions?

Hey Slotter -- Miguel Cabrera and Josh Hamilton both have similar stories, but only Hamilton gets the hype, why?
