About Chris »

I have a day job as a captain of industry in Columbus, Ohio where I do what must be done to pay the bills. By night, and sometimes weekend afternoons, I'm a full fledged wannabe reporter waxing poetic about the Crew—and a few other MLS happenings both here and on The Columbus Offside.

You won't find me giving many game previews, mainly because all you need to know is who we're playing, nor will I ever give power rankings or stat-filled betting guides. I'm sticking strictly to the meat and potatoes: who we're playing, what happened when we played them, and how does it all influence the standings.

I will, however, be very open and honest with my opinions. I'm not afraid to tell you what I think and why you should agree with me. I might end up getting a little emotional every now and again, but this is sport and sport without emotion is a waste.

My Writer's Cannon:
-I will live and die with the Crew,
-I will be a fan first, journalist second,
-I will make you wish you'd been at the game,
-I will never take notes at a game,
-I will be brutally honest at all times,
and
- I will always let my passion show through my writing.

I'm always open to tips and criticism, so drop me a line or leave me a comment.

If you feel the urge you can go check out my other random musings over at The Part Time Jock, friend me on Facebook, follow me on twitter, or, if you're not into the whole brevity thing, send me an email.

All right, Chris, as guest prognosticator this week i'll need the scores for these games:

TFC at Revs
United at Dynamo (GOTW)
Wizards at FCD
RSL at Fire
Crew at Rapids
Sounders at Quakes

I'll need them by Wednesday night, as I'm posting up the preview Thursday morning. Just post your scores on my Bulletin Board. Cheers!
