It was fun to profile a few young players I like to follow, but B/R does not respond well to articles outside the Big 3. Anyway, my assignment editor will prefer me to get back to my regular kinds of topics, but I was glad to write it anyway...

John, I was able to get together some thoughts on young players who I pay attention to and who could one day be a force in the ATP. Anyway, it's probably too much profile, but hopefully we will get to see a lot more of these guys in the future and get to know more about their personalities, strengths, and other things I like to write about. I particularly like Dogopolov, Dimitrov and Tomic.

Anyway, enjoy the U.S. Open. I will be slowing down my articles production for awhile with all the other floods of non-tennis writers posting right now, and I have a busy time coming up at work.

Good to know of your shift in ID here. Hope the B/R account will be OK for you here. Very nice choice of picture with Federer in red!
