Aditya's Bio

Hi.

I'm Adi, an Economics major at Purdue University in the US. I'm 21, originally from India, though I've lived in a pretty ridiculous number of countries - the UAE, Nigeria, Russia, Singapore, to name a few. This is my first foray into sports writing, but I've been quite active on the Juventus FC facebook group, which is where I found out about Bleacher Report.

I've been a Juventus fan for the best part of 15 years, since I saw the '96 Champions League. I was fond of the team for a long time, but it only moved into a full-fledged fanboy-level following around Euro 2000. In terms of National teams, I root for Italy. My choice was made for me by the fact that I follow Juve, the team that regularly sends the most players to La Nazionale. Though, Marcello Lippi keeps excluding Del Piero, who couldn't possibly deserve a call up more, ahead of anyone named 'Totti' or 'Toni' or 'Di Natale'.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see Juve play live yet, a fact that eats at me constantly. I'm hoping to be able to arrange a trip to Italy in time for the inauguration of the Delle Alpi, and watch Juve's first home game played in the fantastic new stadium - I should be employed and earning by then, fingers crossed. Until then, I'll hold myself over by writing here.

Feel free to contact me for any reason, just send me a message through B/R, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
