An Ode to Creative Writing
I love writing, sometimes even in my wildest dreams
Just give me a paper and pen and watch my words flow like troubled streams
Turbulent and disturbed at times, but eventually calming and soothing
Confident one second, and shy the next, like an infant that lost his footing.
Above all, I write for me, I write for you, I write so that we will both be entertained
I write to inspire, so that you can break out of your writer's block where you were formally chained.

I write for you, but most importantly- I write to inspire myself
Because if I wrote strictly to inspire you, I will have nothing to write tomorrow and might end up on a shelf.
