I grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, which is about as football crazy as a town of 20,000 with a Division 2 College can be. My parents only acted interested in sports to humor me, thinking it was a phase. Here I am at 35, still obsessed. I left Kansas in early 2002 to serve my country in the United States Air Force, and it was probably the best decision I ever made.

I am married to maybe the only woman on the planet with enough patience to not only live me, but procreate, as well. I am grooming my only child as the future dictator for the entire galaxy. His name is Gage, and you can choose to bow to him now, when he's a toddler, or be made to do so as his awesomeness grows.

I write stuff, and defend it using this crazy thing called logic, or better yet FACTs. Opposing me will only make you look stubborn and dumb.

    9-6-1998 Busch Stadium, St. Louis, MO. Somehow got tickets to see McGwire, sitting at 60 HRs against the Reds, when we went to StL with opening weekend tickets to see the Rams play. Of course, he waited to hit 61 against the Cubs the NEXT day, but the buzz in StL that day was something I'll never forget.
