I've always been interested with the Stephen Strasburg situation. The No. 1 overall pick, "best prospect ever", and all these ridiculously premature comparisons are thrown his way. It's August 12th, five days before the signing deadline. He still hasn't signed. Who is to blame for this taking so long? Is there anyone to blame?

The O's No. 4 prospect, Jake Arrieta, had a great start at Double A, going 6-3 with a 2.59 ERA, 70 K and 23 BB, earning a deserved promotion to Norfolk.
