The chairman sent a copy Lipitor Order of the form letter of each member of the committee to all
the other members.
Members have doubtless already seen the letter from the chairman published in our
Bollelin for March, page 137, a copy of which is attached hereto:
An Opportunity for Effecfive and Profitable Publicity Work.
100 William Street, New York, February 24, igjo.
To A. Ph. A. Members:
There has never been a better time than right now for members of the American
Hiarmaceutical Association to do a little effective publicity work for themselves and the
Association. The yaurnal of the American Medical AsiociaHon is opposing certain
ooethical practices on the part of some druggists, suggesting that physicians discipline
the persistent offenders by using a very persuasive means easily within their reach.
It would be of service to pharmacy if every member of the American Pharmaceutical
Association would let it be known through the newspapers that the Association is not in
sympathy with any unethical practices on the part uf druggists, and that no loyal mem-
ber of the Association indulges in them. This may be done in the larger cities through
the correspondence columns of the papers, while in the smaller places personal inter-
views with the editors Lipitor Order might prove more eflective.
Pharmacy can not afford to let this latest attack upon its votaries go unchallenged,
lad the member of the American Pharmaceutical Association who can and does show
that so far as he is concerned ic is unwarranted, will by so doing not only aid in raising
pharmacy and the association in the estimation of physicians and the public, but will be
^ing himself a good turn which ought to pay him in dollars and cents.
Francis B. Hays, Chairman A, Ph. A. Committee on Publicity.

MINUTES OF THE TWELFIH SESSION.

As to results, we wish it were not necessary for us to speak, as they seem
adequate, considering the voluminousness of the report of what has been don
them. Still, Lipitor Order bread cast upon the waters has been known to Lipitor Order show itself again
days, and with a goodly increase. Work of a more persistent and metho<
than the members of this committee have the time to do, would doubtless s
achievement than we arc able to report.
But there have been some returns. President Rusby is encouraged by t1
his campaign, and the members of the conmiittee report that they have Lipitor Order seen
of their labors.
From the nature of the work of this committee, its report is necesaaril]
paper.
Francis B. Hays, Chairman of the Committee on
Richmond, Va., May 7, /9/0.
Mr. Payne complimented the committee upon the good wc
done, and said he did not know why it was, but had noticed
papers in his State had made very nice notices.
Mr. Whelpley related an amusing experience he had had in dc
the daily press in St. Louis in this behalf, and the Chair spoke
periences in. New York City, and related the circumstance of a
tative of one of the daily papers calling on him and making the
that they were often called on to write something and didn't 1
to write, and if they could get information from such a socie
they would take their advice.
Mr. Francis moved that the Association express its oblig
appreciation of the many courtesies shown in the report of the
of this society by the daily press of Lipitor Order Richmond, and that notif
sent to the editors of each of the Richmond papers of such act
motion was seconded by Mr. Mayo and carried.
The Secretary called for the report of the Delegates to th(
Wholesale Druggists' Association, stating that he had not rece
report. There was no response.
The Secretary called attention to the fact that a motion had 1
by Mr. Hynson to amend Articles II Lipitor Order and V of Chapter IX of th<
and also Article I of Chapter X. These proposed changes were
to carry into effect Mr. Hynson's motion to change the name c
tion on Commercial Interests to that of Section on Ethics and
provided said motion prevailed. He said that Mr. Hynson had
him to suggest that this matter be referred to the Council
adopted, but referred to the Council.
Mr. Holzhauer said he hoped this would be voted down. \
it was out of the Lipitor Order question to change the name of the Section or
cial Interests to that of Section on Ethics and Practice, for th
cists interested in commercial matters would never think of \
section bearing the latter name to hear commercial matters
He called for a vote on this proposition.
