Perez: Revitalizing Madrid's Title Hopes, or Making A Nightmarish Mistake?
07/02/2009
I've always been a huge football fall. I think on some level I was playing and watching the game long before I could walk (well...maybe in my heart I was). I've grown to find every aspect of the game invigorating from the brilliance of a heart stopping goal too the pain of a heart shattering keepers save. Growing up goals were the reason i watched football. I sat in anticipation for a thirty meter thunder bolt or a scintillatingly smooth Michael Owen finish. But as I've gotten older I've grown too appreciate all aspects of the game from the players who work tirelessly so others can shine, too the managers and men behind the scenes.
Ever since I can remember I've supported Liverpool, I guess I have my brother to thank for that, who took me at a young age and baptized me in the ways of the Kop and flashes and flickers of brilliance from Anfield's famous red men.
Regardless of my Liverpool loyalties I'd have to say that football comes first and that I have a great respect for the game and the other teams/styles that come with it. (However, I do like to wind up the occasional band wagoner when Liverpool gets one up on them)
I'm sad to admit it but I'm still pretty young, too young to have been around when Liverpool ruled the world and ran football wild, but never the less; I've been a loyal fan all my life. And I hope too see Rafa's red men push further and harder than ever before.
Hope you enjoy the articles, and whenever you don't agree with one of my views don't be afraid too rile up a banter or two.
