About Justin »

Hey everybody! I'm Justin O'Neill -- sports enthusiast, hockey fanatic and budding journalist. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario and am a bit of a homer when it comes to my Maple Leafs, but I don't blindly follow - I am a very critical fan.

I am currently a student pursuing my Master's Degree at Syracuse University in Journalism.

In the past I have interned at The Hockey News, and for the past 18 months have been working at the Canadian edition of SportsCentre (on TSN; basically ESPN - Canada). I graduated from Notre Dame in 2006 with an English degree.

The Shortlist »

  • All Time Sports Moment

The Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup... oh, wait... I wasn't alive in 1967. ND's National Championship in '89? Don't remember that either. I was 4. I guess the Jays back-to back in 92,93.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Game 3 of the 2002 Stanley Cup Finals - Detroit vs. Carolina. The game went into triple overtime, it was pretty unbelievable!

  • Ruth or Mays?

  • Unitas or Montana?

Joe Montana! Notre Dame at its finest.

Hi Justin: Please stop by and take a look at my work. I am asking you because you are really a sound editor. I am now a featured columnist so I would like my work to look good but do not change it just edit OK? Look over my last two and in a couple three days stop by again ok? If we can work here I will need you every three days if you have the time and can remember. OK?

thanks for the edit, I put that bit because there is so much negativity surrounding Donovan McNabb in general. There is a large number of people who feel like he is not that great of a QB as well as a choke artist, since he made it to 4 NFC championships and did not win a single ring. I know McNabb wants to win a ring not only for Philly but to shore up his legacy.

Thank you very much for the edits. I was hoping it was a good article. I am not sure about my writing sometimes. But this helps me out to see things I need to work on. The article flows a lot better and all my original content is there. I think with the edits my points and articles make a little more sense now. Thanks Again

Thanks for the edit and feedback Justin. Zherdev is a really tough case, so much potential, but like you say, can you pay to develop that talent when he takes nights off. Looking forward to seeing Gaborik here, just hoping that he can stay healthy.

Hey, thanks for editing my article! Can't believe I left the 'S' off St. Pierre's name. It's what I get for writing at 4 a.m. I suppose. Glad you enjoyed it, though!
