I am the author of "Roar from 34 - A Baltimore Orioles Blog." The blog has been around since the 2006 season; its tag line is "Humor. History. Homerism."
Regular Roar from 34 features include "Flashback Fridays," weekly look-backs on local baseball personalities and/or past Orioles happenings similar to those currently taking place in baseball, and "The Eutaw Street Chronicles," the stories of each home run to land on Eutaw Street since Camden Yards opened.
Overall, Roar from 34 is a pinch of therapy for a long-suffering Birds fan mixed with a heaping dose of nostalgia. It is my connection to the team I grew up with - to a memorable past and a hopeful future.

This article highlights mediocre in MLB.
Who made it from your team?
Former MLB player Eric Karros called my article into question on Colin Cowherd's ESPN Radio show yesterday.
He challenged me for a re-do: but here's my response.
I assure you, it's not just a ridiculous personal attack, but it shows that Karros was off-base with his statements.

Hey Matt,
Are you sick of the extensive media coverage of the Yankees vs. the Red Sox? I know I am!

Decided to start doing weekly MLB Power Rankings. If you get the chance, I'd like it if you took a look. Thanks.
