Amanda Bruno is a freelance sportswriter for The Springfield Republican.

She is a graduate of Curry College where she earned her bachelor's degree in communication with a concentration in journalism and minor in English. At Curry, Bruno was the editor-in-chief of The Currier Times and a Boston Globe Correspondent covering high school sports along with other duties for two years.
