Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

This list starts and stops with Brett Favre. The greatest athlete/sportsman to ever play any major sport. The movie Iron Man is coming out soon, but as far as I am concerned, it has been playing on Sundays for the last 17 years.I take it back. I have way more people to list. Boom Dizzle. Andris the Latvian Giant. Mike Grier...WHO...Mike Grier! Big Joe Thornton. Wayne Rooney. Elvis Stojko. Martin Grammatica. Georges St. Pierre. Prince Naseem Hamed. Eddie the Eagle. I am kinda reaching so I'll stop.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

The Raiders. In Al we trust. Love him or hate him, we are stuck with him. At least he has good intention...I think.Warriors, A's, Packers, Sharks, Cal Bears, Oakland Tech Bulldogs. I suppose if it's from the Bay it's better than the alternative.

  • All-Time Sports Moment

Favre on Monday night, AGAINST the Raiders. My favorite team gets destroyed by my favorite player. I know it doesn't make much sense, but I am a little screwed in the head.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

My under-10s soccer game where I scored on a corner kick. It was the only highlight of my athletic career worthy of being on ESPN's top plays.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Ironman, but not the one you're thinking. Cal Ripkin's is more unbreakable than Brett's, if you can believe that.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth, because I am of the opinion that if he could put up the #'s he did, while consistently drunk, he must be the greatest to ever play the game.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana. I hate the 49ers with a passion, but for some reason I still had a hard time making this choice. Objectivity is a ***** so I have to be honest with myself. Hatred sometimes translates to respect. You have to know your enemy to defeat them.

  • Jordan or Russell?

    Gotta rep the Bay. Russell.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele. I know this is the cliche pick, but Maradona is most famous for a goal he didn't even score (god's hand had to help him), so I am going with Edison Arantes do Nascimento, I mean Pele.

  • Federer or Sampras?

    Agassi.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Golf isn't a sport.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

Pac-10. Because there IS an East Coast bias, and I will do everything in my power to boost the streed cred of the West, even if it means blatant denial of cold hard facts!
