I'm a grad student from Orange County, California, currently living in Seattle, Washington, but moving soon to Washington, DC. I love following European football, where I support Manchester United, Everton, Fulham, and Villareal. Don't ask why I support these teams, I couldn't really tell you. I'm also a big Lakers fan.

I can't say I have any journalistic ambitions, but every time I see an analysis on Soccernet or Goal.com I think "I can do that." So this is me doing that.

I will be covering mostly the state of American soccer, at home and abroad, for Bleacher Report. I'll have the odd World football article every now and then, but I figure with my American soccer articles I give much needed coverage to the grassroots soccer movement and its league and players. These include MLS previews and player ratings, editorial rants about the odd American-Euro hybrid league that is MLS, and the status of American players abroad.
