You’re welcome, Gene! No worries about the names. As for the number clarification, I apologize for any confusion on that front!

According to the B/R Stylebook: “Nounal height-related constructions like '7-footer' are also presented in digits, except when they appear at the beginning of a sentence (Ex. 2: the talented 7-footer).” So, in general, numbers under 10 are still written out and 10 and over use digits. This is just one of those exceptions that was recently clarified for us.

Please let me know if any of that isn’t clear/if you have any questions. Thanks!

Sorry for the confusion, Gene. I went back and checked the context of "regular season" in your article, and you're right. Since it was used as an adjective ("regular-season finale"), it requires the hyphen. Only when used as a noun is the hyphen not required.

I went in and changed it back. Nice catch!

    Hey Gene,

Three-point shot and three-point attempt should be hyphenated as compound modifiers, but if you look in the dictionary section of the B/R Stylebook (http://bleacherreport.com/pages/stylebook), the noun "three-pointer" is also to be hyphenated. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

You're welcome, Gene! Sorry about the formatting troubles. I know that's happened to me on occasion and can be a bit frustrating. Keep up the good work.
