Orange and Blue to the bone I'm a Denver native that breathes football. In fact, I spent five years posting up in the "South Stands" watching Johnny Ballgame work his magic. I've played the sport for more years than I'd like to remember, coached it, scouted talent, written about it and even refereed it for a while, it's safe to say that I have a passion for the game.

I got my start preparing scouting reports for the CU Buffs and that landed me a gig as head scout for nfldraftguys.com. For those that don't know, it's THE place for all draft needs and questions, a high quality site. During my years with Draftguys I covered some "once in a lifetime" events. I covered two Broncos training camps for 104.3 the Fan in Denver alongside Cecil Lammey. I was asked to cover the 2007 NFL Combine in Indy for Next Level Scouting and most recently was asked to cover the 2008 NFL Draft in NY for 104.3 the Fan. Unfortunately circumstance arose and I was unable to attend but the request to cover it was truly an honor.

The fever to write about sports was fading fast when I was asked to cover the Big 12 for Football.com and I took a bit of time for myself. If anyone ever tells you that paying dues isn't as hard as some say, they're lying straight to your face. The dues ground me down, but not out. Now with the fires burning again, I hope to find a new home in the Bleachers.
