Hello, my name is Rick Gillispie AKA Drunken Gator.
I am 32. I love college football and college basketball and Hockey. I am married with 2 kids and one on the way.
I love to write about sports to a fan base that is untouched compared to anything else.
Sports is a release for me. I can relax at home and enjoy watching my favorite team play nothing can beat that.
Check out my SEC College Basketball Blog http://collegehoopsmadness.blogspot.com/

G'girl: Yeah, it's the Gators I'm discussing above (guess that wasn't as clear as I assumed,...
Not even two weeks into the season and we are down to two teams left in the SEC that are undefeated. Kentucky 6-0 just won the Cancun Challenge. The Wildcats haven't looked great in their six wins but the are getting it done...

Get used to it 'Noles. There's more where that came from.

We'll know more about UF tomorrow. So far they have been less than impressive shooting the...
As the first week of the College basketball has come to an end their have been some outstanding performances. The SEC over the last few years have had its struggles getting back to the top of the pedestal that the Florida Gators held a few years ago...
Nice article. Auburn's going to be a bad team this year - they lost Korvotney Barber who was their heart and soul.
Um, Missouri State's not a bad loss. The Bears haven't been to the post-season since 2007, but they've been to six NCAA Tournaments and eight NITs...
Rick, Slight argument with you on LSU not beating anyone. WKU was in the Preseason 25 our just outside in most polls and picked to run...
LOL, this was hilarious, Kentucky is so freaking overrated!!!
I'm from Kentucky and like Kentuckt but I still say they are way to overrated.
The Southeastern Conference needing to lift them selves up after a year where the sent only three teams to the Tournament things have started a little rocky. 10 loses already combined in the Conference is not what they need...
Every year young men make their way to the class room and the hardwood for their first taste of the College life. Freshman have a history of helping their teams right away and basking in the spotlight that is College basketball...

DeleteI have just published a battle cry for (LSU) Tiger Nation. It's a must read for Tiger fans and it might be my best literary effort to date, I hope everyone will enjoy regardless of team or sport affiliation.
