I was born in Boise, Idaho in September of 1960. I can't say I was raised in Idaho because I'm an Air Force brat of 17 years & lived in several different states. I went to the first part of my Grade School life in Boise and then moved around the country until about 1974-75. I attended East Jr. High for one year and then spent my High School years at Boise High School. I graduated in 1978. I joined the US Air Force in 1980 and spent the next 9 years at Keesler AFB, MS (1), Mtn Home AFB, ID (2), Comiso AB, Sicily (1) and finally Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska (5) before coming back to Idaho in 1989. I married my beautiful wife, Marianne, in March of 1995 and we recently celebrated 14 years together.
I worked at various places in the Boise, Meridian and Nampa/Caldwell areas before accepting a position with Hughes Network Systems and moving to Minneapolis, MN in 1997. We now have a home in Brooklyn Center, MN and have lived here since August of 1999.
I have been a hard core Pittsburgh Steelers Fan since I was 9 yrs old (1969). I followed my team, starting the year before Terry Bradshaw took over as QB, until the reign of Big Ben. I've stuck with the Steelers through some VERY rough seasons, then through some VERY productive seasons in the '70's and then back into mediocrity....until recently. The Steel Curtain has come & gone but the resilient and resourceful Steelers are back!
Long Live The Pittsburgh Steelers and the STEELER NATION!!
God Bless You All.....and.....GO STEELERS!!!
