About

I passionately follow Manchester United. Following football since late 1990s but more regularly since 2006 WC. As a kid i thought Beckham was cool and the red/home kit with Vodafone logo was my fav. When i first watched MUFC those were the 2 big factors besides other things that made me like them initially, it wasn't much about football. Later on when i started watching more football and understood better i liked Giggs, Scholes, RVN and Keane very much and now Rooney & Vidic. Among national teams i don't like just 1 team. It depends on the players. In 2006 WC it was Italy, reason being the likes of Pirlo, Gattusso, Cannavaro, Nesta, Totti and Buffon all in the same team. In 2008 Euro and 2010 WC it was Spain i felt bad that they had underachieved and wanted them to win, also i really liked Puyol, Ramos, Iniesta, Casillas and Villa. But lately it has been Germany over any other team. Also i realise that i have always liked them. I have always liked their team, First it was Lahm, Ballack, Kahn and Metzelder and the young guns Podolski and Schweiny and now my fav. German players are Hummels and Ozil. I have supported the English team only because of Rooney and Gerrard but i have never enjoyed watching them. There is nothing to like about their style of football. Hoping that it changes but i know it wont be anytime soon. Also hate the fact that Defenders and Goal-keepers are under-rated.
Besides Football i love traveling, swimming and being with friends.
