Shane has yet to fill out a bio.
Hi Shane, I'll do the best to answer your questions.
-As for the brand split, I don't anticipate it returning any time soon. I understand why some people liked it and the draft was definitely entertaining, but at the same time there is value in having every wrestler available to compete on both shows. I think the WWE is content with no split.
-Making SmackDown live would be a great move in my opinion. I can't imagine it will happen for as long as a contract is in place with SyFy as SyFy has an expectation that it will air on Fridays, but I definitely see it as a possibility down the line since it would bring in significantly greater viewership.
-The PG Era is obviously another hot-button issue, but I feel like it's a bit over hyped. Swearing and blood aren't necessary for great wrestling. Professional wrestling was arguably more popular in the mid-1980s than it was during the Attitude Era and that was PG. Also, what many people don't realize is that the bulk of the Attitude Era took place under PG guidelines. Like anything, the WWE is cyclical and it will evolve over time, so the product will eventually become edgier again.
It's still real to you dammit!
That's a good point you make about Cena and possibly Ryback going over Big Show at Mania. My preference is for Ryback to face Lesnar, but Big Show is definitely the next best option.
