I am a product of growing up in Alaska and Oregon. Although I love my UAF Nanooks, (dont know who they are you say? Look it up), they don't have football in the land of frozen tundra, polar bears, and glaciers, so I have been a Duck fan since the days of Tony Graziani. I actually graduated high school way up north, but moved back to Oregon, just outside of Eugene, and spent many years going to the games at Autzen. The social graces of life then carried me off to Texas for several years, and I currently am living on the East coast, so believe me when I say I keep an eye on the ENTIRE national picture. I do like to think of myself as an open minded individual in the world of college football, and do realize that my team is not always #1 as I would want them to be. Additionally, I think its extremely important to keep your mind open enough to interpret the whole big picture when it comes to college sports. If you don't, there's a plethora of moments frozen in time itself that are only going to be a missed opportunity you've isolated yourself from. Besides, its incredibly fun to try and take it in and enjoy it all!
Oh Alaska...would you delete this info once read or at least let me know once you have read it so I can delete it.
I'll hook you up with sports from comcast and pac 12 network. here is how to log on go to http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/specials/Pac-12 and pick the feed I suggest the oregon live feed. Sign in with: quackattack69 password: OregonDucks69 make sure you capitalize where I did. You can go nuts watching all sorts of superfluous sports. But you will be able to see the Ducks game live!
Eat more cheetos and Lolli says hello lol
Alaska, I caught that get "used to it" comment and thought of you freaking out. I am happy you slept better...and after a game like that...those comments...who wouldn't. The game is played within the rules...and the rules ain't changing because of one coach...even if he is the god of the sec. It reminds me of...I'm going Star Trek on you...Captain Kirk beating the Kobayashi Maru...by cheating...changing the test in order to win. If I went over your head...not to worry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobayashi_Maru If you know what I am talking about disregard the wikipedia thing. It's exactly the same thing...when it comes right down to it...IT'S CHEATING.
About the Sabin woos comment...No worries man...the NCAA rules committee moves slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter. A comment from the god of the SEC will not make it so. Especially without facts to back up the "injury" claim. Ole Miss came out and scared Bama by scoring 14 quick points against them and all of a sudden Saban saw the future of football...and his team did not fit into it. He has two things he can do...Discover a prevent DEFENSE (or prevent offense defense)...OR LOSE. He thought up a third option...the Kobayashi Maru option...(for Star Trek fans)... basically, change the rules so he can win. I CALL IT CHEATING. Until the NFL makes the rule change (usually the precursor to most college rules changes or a marked increase in injuries because of the hurry-up (which are not happening...not any more than standard offenses)..rules will stay the same. The Champion Bama team, as you and I know...have played nobody this year...not one ranked team based on THIS YEARS PLAY. They only have two ranked teams on their schedule and those teams are not that hot. The only time they will face a top 10 team is the SHIP.if they go undefeated. If he loses just one game...his comments will go by the wayside of just another disgruntled coach. I hope the hell he gets beat by a team running the hurry-up...and that team is the Ducks. Il'd rather him drop a game before that however because I am sick and tired of BAMA fans and their high and mighty Roll Tide yell...SKROOM! GO DUCKS~
