Kyle's Bio

I was born on February 15, 1985 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. My earliest memories was playing catch with my older brother and my dad. These memories would soon be replaced by the memories of my older brother and his friends throwing baseballs at me, though I would eventually be able to do the same as my friends and I would throw baseballs at my little brother. I fully blame my sports obsession on my dad and my brother. Through my dad we became die-hard Packer fans, and through WGN my brother and I became die-hard Cubs fans. But by myself, through Coach K, I became a die-hard Duke fan. Most kids listened to music while they went to bed, I listened to sports talk radio, thus beginning my passion for going into sports broadcasting. I attended the University of South Dakota for a brief period (I studied the art of drinking and beer pong too much) for Broadcasting. I started in radio my sophomore year of high school and as I moved to college started at another radio station as well as a TV station. Anyway, I love sports.

The Short List facts and information about Kyle Jensen

Favorite Athletes

Brett Favre, Michael Jordan, Ryne Sandberg, Kyle Singler

Favorite Sports Teams

Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, Duke Blue Devils

All Time Sports Moment

The sports moment that has made me the happiest was the Packers winning the Super Bowl. My worst one would definitely be the 2003 NLCS Cubs vs. Marlins. As for me personally though, it would be winning a championship in every season as a little league baseball player and later as a coach.

Most Memorable Game Attended

The 2003 South Dakota Class AA State Football Championship between my high school (Aberdeen Central) and Spearfish, we were the favorites as we went into the game 12-0 but lost.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Brett Favre's consecutive starts.

Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

For football, definitely the SEC, and for basketball, always has and always will be the ACC.

  1. I never got upset bud didnt you read my comment? And Thats great that your a die hard packer fan Ryan. In fact, as a 'Die Hard' Green Bay you should be able to implement that fact that a Head Coach can come in and give him more then ONE year, he can turn his team around and make them playoff bound such as Mike Mcarthy did. Of course, the NATION will defend and stand behind our team. Wouldnt you do the same if i actually took the time of my day to write a pointless article bashing on the GB PACKERS? About how theyll plunder without Favre, how the Vikings have had great offseason additions which will make them when the North. Or how about this backup QB..... Injury Pron Aaron Rogers.... will be the biggest failure in GB history and wont even lead them to 4 wins. The One year wonder packers

  2. Kyle - I'm new at this bleacher report - just stumbled across it - had no idea you were a Favre fan - my comment on your article looks like I was deliberately goading you. Truly, not the case. Yes, I believe what I wrote - but also - nothing personal! Now that I see your Short List, I commend you on your gracious response.

  3. Hey! To look at feedback, look at the "article history" link on your article's page. It should all be there. Let me know if you need anything else.
