John's Bio
An Ohio native and a former writer for the Columbus Blue Jackets' Web site, John has moved on to greener ... er ... sandier pastures in the Arizona desert. He's an editor and writer for a hodgepodge of business magazines and Web sites during the day, and if he's got any diction left, he writes about sports at night. Wearing a Cleveland Browns sweatshirt and hearing all of the taunts about how they've never been to a Super Bowl, he shamelessly plugged his blog -- johncarlisle.blogspot.com -- outside of Super Bowl XLII.

Hey it's cool. I enjoyed your article. I don't know why I still am enamored by him. I guess he'll always be that first baseball player I loved and will tell everyone about, but I know not many other Tribe fans feel the same. I respect him, and wish him the best. He is what he is.
Anyway, thanks for the link and I look forward to more great stuff. By the way, would you be interested in being a part of our weekly Tribe Talk discussion. I have so many people now that I won't ask everyone every week, but am looking to gauge interest. Go Tribe!

On a side note to my comment in the article, when did you write with the Jackets? I was an intern with them in the Client Services department with Brent Baker, Carson Woods, Marc Gregory and Paul D'aiuto for three seasons from '02-'04. I also was the Director for the Ice Haus during '05-06 season. I no longer work down there, but had a great time working the games. I actually sat in the press box for my work on game nights.
Anyway, welcome to Bleacher Report and I look forward to more great insight on the Indians in the future!
