Should Gunners Season Be Considered Failure or Success?
May 26, 2012
Hello! To begin, I would like to introduce myself as a Washingtonian. Born and raised in the District of Columbia. Washington Wizards, Capitals, Nationals and Redskins (D.C. United of course). While none of these teams have been good in the past decade, I love them.
Ovechkin, Wall and Strasburgh. The athletic faces of the city.
I signed up for B/R to provide the top information on the Washington teams (slightly more biast towards the Wizards).
Then, I started to follow Football (The original). With the help of my friends, who had already caught the Football bug, I too began to love the beautiful game.
Being an American, I found it difficult to find a team to pledge my allegiance to. Most of my friends were Arsenal fans, with several City, United and Chelsea scattered about the place. I was largely under the influence, from the Gooners, that if I started to like United or Chelsea, I was evil. Like pledging allegiance to any of the Manchester teams was a sin.
I, as the unknowing Football fan, agreed.
I decided to start liking Bayern Munich. Why? I don't know. Maybe because I like the German style of play more, or because of my heritage. They became my favorite team. Yet I still had to find a favorite Premier League team.
I could join the Gooners, except I wanted to be different. If everyone liked Arsenal, there would be no competition between fans. So I did a complete 180 and looked for teams that were not in the top 4 or 5. I did some research and came to a conclusion.
My favorite Premier League team is Newcastle (even though I admire Fulham, mainly because of Clint Dempsey).
Their success has not been because of money, but because of raw talent. That's true beauty in football.
I had found my favorite teams, but still, I love the English football in general.
And how can you not like Arsenal? (Except of course if you're a Spurs fan.)
I love giving my opinion and writing. Hence my B/R career. I will strive to always write the most up to date, interesting and convincing article I can.

I actually do. They are highly absorbing. I've 'fanned' thee. Hope to see more articles
No problem.
No problem, Kyle. That guy was being stupid when he commented on your article. Thanks for reading, I've enjoyed yours too. I'm not a soccer fan so I haven't read any of those, but I've found your Wizards articles to be extremely informative. They are one of the few teams I don't know much about, so it was nice to learn more about them and their personnel.
Thanks man, keep up the good work
What was that about?
Hey I've read a few of your articles and read your replies to some of the comments left on your articles and I've come to the conclusion that you have no knowledge of not only of Arsenal but of football itself. The things you are saying are quite ignorant and insulting to the sport. If you want to continue writing I suggest another sport.
Sorry I put 4/11 meant 5.
Haha, saw your message. Here's what's right: Szczesny, van Persie, Arteta, and Mertesacker, Jenkinson. Tough ones. 4/11. I would take that score down for messing up with the subs, saying Gervinho is brazilian, that Arsenal uses a 1-5-4, and that Coquelin made his debut against Tottenham.
Hey Kyle, I'd love to face off, but unfortunately it won't happen anytime soon. College eats up most of my free time, and I have a heavy load of work ahead of me this semester. Earliest time I'll get to sit down and really enjoy FIFA 12 will probably be Thanksgiving.
Kyle, no offense, but you really messed up on your last article. You might get a medal based on the amount of negative comments.
