Frankie. Nice to see a familiar face. Jonas hype has got to levels of insanity. I just hope that people give the young man time. I know in talking to various people in the media some share in my opinion that the Raptors have done a bad job in keeping people expectations somewhat grounded.
I can see why they have done that but there is a cost that could be paid for it. Jonas is by all accounts the Anti-Bargnani but if he has a slow start to his NBA Career he may face a long tough road to respectability which is one that Bargnani still is fighting in year 7. The Raptors above all teams should know better in keeping Raptors fans expectations to reasonable levels.
In the end it is Jonas who will take the heat on the front lines for their year long hype campaign to build him up. Fans have done a complete 180 from when he was first drafted. Which is good seeing as a lot hated the pick. But there was a smarter way to educate fans on Jonas and still keep the expectations where they should be for a big man coming over from Europe or even in the NCAA.

You guys don't know what you are talking about. It will NEVER be over for Cleveland, nor should it be. This man is a traitor, a liar, and a pampered child. You write we were 'blessed' for 7 years?? How asinine! That man made hundreds of millions of dollars because of us, and through us. We worshiped him, made skyscrapers into his image, and believed when he said he wouldn't rest until he brought us a title. He is getting what he deserves in every town in America-- booed, for being the poster child of self-absorbed athletes. Anyone who defends him is just a syncophantic fool.
With Moon on the Cavs, I see you're following them; your comments are welcomed:
