It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that things aren't the way they used to be.

Our country has been hijacked by corporate managers and elitist media snobs, who attempt to dictate the way we think, act, and feel to line their own pockets.

The idea of the American dream has been ripped from our very hands by the powers that be in the "New World Order", who have replaced the notion of the American working man and a respectable living wage with promises of economic prosperity and consumer choice. The media, meanwhile, distracts us from the real issues at hand, opting instead to give us the latest celebrity gossip and details of the O.J. trial.

Yet in the end, such promised prosperity and choices are only available for a select few, while the rest of the world goes to hell in a hand basket. The corporations protect themselves and the media protects the corporations, while hard working, patriotic Americans lose their jobs to slave labor overseas so they can work at Walmart for six bucks an hour.

Recently, honest Americans have not only lost their jobs but in addition are starting to be deprived of one of their other most fundamental liberties: access to clean and dignified professional sports.

Sports have the ability to bring our country closer together in times of crisis. During the Civil War, the north and south would occasionally drop their weapons to play a game of townball (which later became baseball). The tradition of sporting in our country goes back centuries, and one would naturally think that it is an aspect of our culture that nobody could take away from us.

However that is seemingly not the case. Slowly but surely, the corporate managers and media hacks are corrupting professional sports.

They sat idly by while steroids and performance enhancing drugs found their way into our favorite games.

They replaced $2 nosebleed seats with skyboxes for the rich and powerful.

They regularly attack the integrity of the men who make our favorite games possible—the players—to turn us, the fans, against our heroes and remove our focus from the real villains.

It is time for all of us decent Americans to join together and take back our country. In the columns I write for Bleacher Report, I attempt to do just this by analyzing the disintegration of our favorite games, and what it means for our country as a whole.

To my prospective readers: all I ask is that you listen closely and think critically about the direction our country is heading in. Things just ain't what they used to be...

    Hey Frank,

    I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.
