What We Learn From the Ducks' Thrilling Win Over the Wildcats

“Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.”—John Jakes
I'm 14 and currently a 8th grader. I love to write, and enjoy most sports including football, basketball, hockey, tennis, college football, basketball, baseball, and rugby.
I write about the Oregon Ducks, football in general, and am starting to get into college basketball and hope to expand the community. I also am going to start writing about the Blazers again.
I really enjoy writing, and have a passion for making my work the best it can be.
I am honored to have my articles featured on Scout.com, rivals.com, and various newspaper sites around the northwest.
My three favorite authors:
Leroy Watson. He is a great friend, mentor, and a Duck band wagoner...lol. He consistently writes great pieces, check him out: http://bleacherreport.com/users/68004-leroy-watson
Hotnuke. 'Nuke here writes, again, consistently great articles. They can spur up a 12 comment conversation on 50 reads, something very very few people can do. He writes about various topics, including touching ones like his Veterans Day special. Check him out for some great work:

Bryan Kelly. In two months he's wrote 60+ articles, and is the number one college football writer—above BabyTate and the likes. Some poweful, opinionated articles always catch my eyes with Bryan. Check him out if you want some real College Football info: http://bleacherreport.com/users/147187-bryan-kelly
Nice work, Caleb. Don't start doubting the Ducks' swagger, it was meant to be a close game last week. In fact, it might have just been...
Nice job Keith. It looks as though we're the only two who's gonna be writing college basketball for the Ducks. Hopefully we can put 'em back...
Hey hey, pretty sweet. Sorry I didn't see this sooner...but nice work!
Wow. What a powerful article! You continue to impress me Kevin, and at such a young age... I remember the big thing with Josh, that was...
Jim Harbaugh, and Al Golden both should be above Iowa. It's awesome what he's done there, but you can't argue with Temple and Stanford getting top...
Wow. They sure picked a good one for College GameDay this week. I honestly turned it off after the first quarter, and didn't turn it back on until the third, when I saw the latest score. Frankly, I was expecting a smackdown of the Wildcats...
Moore has played utterly humiliating teams other than Oregon. He can't be all oohed and aahed for doing that. Anyone could throw 400 yards against a...
It ain't bias. Alabama is playing better. Period. Your spacing/ format is outta wack...just thought I'd let ya know. But great stuff! Nice point about Ducks...
The rankings came out earlier this evening and every poll was drenched in bias.
