Chris X,
Thanks for selecting me as one of your favorite writers. As a fellow Raider fan I have a great deal of respect for other Raider fans & sports fans in genereal and I want to always have something to say and give the Raider Nation something worth reading. I also have to ignore the professional haters, juvenile activity as well as the displayed stupidity on Raider articles. Thanks for your contribution.
GO RAIDERS!!!

Not a problem.
I see the Raiders as doing better than the 49ers, if anything, simply because at least, unlike the 49ers, we see which direction we're going. We're in a division, that's famous for being a punching bag. Oakland, the Chiefs, and the Broncos have combined for 7 super bowl wins, or almost an 8th of all wins....and add in the appearances, the AFC West has had a team in the super bowl for 15 trips...not too shabby.
About the only thing the 49ers can look forward to, is that their division is undergoing a radical change. The Seahawks are sinking fast, and the Cards are looking a lot stronger than anyone else. And, you do have the Rams to take shots at, all year.
If we're to win against the Bills, we need to pack the line, and shut down Lynch like we did against Johnson in KC. I'd say it's a good shot, if we keep it running. heck with the passing game....we just need to play smart football....safer that way.

Thanks for the excellent feedback on the Raider article. I like your takes on the squad thanks for contributing. The Oakland Raiders will make a lot of noise in 2008.

If we wanted to compare the entire history of NFL Franchises, you're 100% right. The Patriots have been the most incompetent franchise in professional sports, outside of the Tampa Bay teams.
Even when they finally figured out how to win, they found a way to lose with the Spygate thing.
Anyway, the article was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek response to how Raiders fans replied to my last article (141 comments, at least half death threats). While I still think Al Davis is insane, I would take him over any owner the Patriots had prior to Bob Kraft.
In a heartbeat.
