I was born in Virginia, but at the age of 2 my family moved to Ohio. Like so many families from Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia, we moved north to take advantage of Automotive jobs in the 50s.
I have been an Indians, Caviliers, and Buckeyes fan since hign school in the late sixties. I used to be a browns fan until I watched Don Shula and the Dolphins beat a better Pittsburg team in 1972. It was the famous safety play. Instead of punting from their own 10 yard line the Dolphins took a safety and then punted from the 20. Pittsburg was not able to get back to field goal range and the Dolphins won by one point.
I know some where in my soul I love the Browns, but unless they establish some consistancy i cannot take the disapointment.
I currently live in North Georgia and have since 1988. I get to play a lot of Golf, but miss some things from Ohio.
PS. While I like Mark Reich and the bulldogs, I am tired of the SEC saying their the best conferance. I hope to see the Bulldogs and Buckeyes play each other someday.
