Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, I have always held a passion for all things Philadelphia sports related. So I figured, what better way to try to make a living then writing about something you're passionate about?

As a graduate of the Temple University school of journalism, I've had the oppurtunity to see on the inside the world of the Philadelphia sports machine through jobs and internships, but I have not yet had the oppurtunity to write about the teams that I grew up on- the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. (No disrespect to the Flyers, but Hockey lost me about the same time that "Cheers" was going off the air)

Treading water along the bottom rung of sports journalism,covering every high school sport from boys volleyball to girls soccer across state lines just to get a byline, I decided to join Bleacher Report and start writing about the teams that I know.

For now, I'll focus on the home teams. The untouchable Phillies, the ruthless-machine-of-an-organization known as the Eagles, and the amazingly mediocre Sixers. As I go, I'll most likely add my two cents on broad based sports topics as well.
