About

First off, let me start by saying I've been a Die Hard Saint fan since the days of Dalton Hilliard, Bobby Hebert, Pat Swilling, Sam Mills, and Craig "Ironhead" Heyward. Boomer Esiason was the first player I can recall rooting for in the Superbowl against the 49ers. That's when I noticed a guy by the name of Joe Montana, and how talented he was. It was also the time in which my love of Football really kicked off. I then began to pull for Joe Montana in every game he played, including his days in K.C. Once he retired, I focused all my attention on the closest local team in Mississippi, the New Orleans Saints.

This Superbowl has been a long time coming, and was an emotional ride for the millions of fans all over Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. You have to remember that Archie Manning, an ex Saint, was from Mississippi, as was Brett Favre. I actually grew up about 35 miles East of where Favre played his college ball in Hattiesburg MS. So, not only was it very hard to root against Brett Favre in the NFC Championship game, but we then had to root against another Mississippi boy and son of former Saint, Archie Manning, in the Superbowl. It was a very hard, very emotional ride, but a very fun ride as well.

As far as my writing goes, you'll either love it or hate it. I say all the things that everyone wants to say, but are afraid to say, as it might put them out on a limb. I don't really dodge subjects as much as I meet them head on like a Mack truck. I've been pretty good in my predictions and evaluation of talent in the past, which is why I'm not afraid to say what I think about most players. If you ever need anything, or have any questions I can help you with, feel free to drop me a line. I will help you anyway I can, but don't be hurt when you get an honest answer.

Wow, praise from Mack Bonner. He's either not feeling right or in a bad mood. I'm definitely concerned. Haha; thanks man. Too bad on this week's game, but we'll get back in the win column next week. I can almost guarantee it.

Strong possibility of the NFL being diluted in quality, by extending the regular season to 18 games. My solution generates additional league revenue and increased competition, without sacrificing the quality and integrity of the NFL.

Hey Mack, how are you? Hope all is well! I have been thinking about some other draft targets such as Mark Herzlich as a Sam OLB at 6"4 and 244lb he is a beast! I have mentioned Casey Matthews already, I have also been thinking that maybe we should be looking at Austin Pettis and Jeff Maehl! Pettis could be Colston's back up; he is a phenomenal catcher and makes really good catches in heavy traffic and can evade press man coverage! His high football IQ makes him a threat in the red zone! please check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfqGvm5PNuY&feature=player_embedded#at=36

Im hoping Lance Moore stays and Henderson goes! In the event of Moore going Maehl would make a fantastic replacement, he is shifty athletic and can make some tough catches in important situations, check out his two point conversion to tie the game in the BCS final against Auburn! He rarely drops the ball also!

    Look forward to your reply!

just read your saints mock draft post. I'm loving your pics, especially the Austin Pettis one, I really think the saints could use another receiver too! what about getting a late rounder like a Jeff Maehl? Also, what if they use their 7th rounder on a QB backup for Drew Brees on a guy like Scott Tolzien?

Nick Fairley is the greatest DT prospect since Warren Sapp scouts say. He plays for the SEC which has more competition then Big 12 where ndamukong suh played so he faced better offensive lineman.Nick had a better year then him when he got drafted.NFL scouts wanted him to cut down from 310 to 295 and his height isn't a factor. How can you say he is not the Best Defensive Lineman when Da’Quan Bowers play DE and Nick plays DT which is to two completely different positions. He still had more sacks then Bowers..
