Kate Conroy is what all Yankee fans should be, enthusiastic, bright, and loyal. She is a refreshing change from fair weather fan bloggers, a true fan that believes in and supports the Yankees through good and bad. She has shamed my cynical nature and forced me to remember when my sports heroes were unvarnished giants whose feats left the only lasting marks on a sport's fans season's calendar.
Kate is a lifelong Yankees and NY Giants fan. She was born and raised in New York City where she still resides today. Her desire to be heard is how Lady Loves Pinstripes got started.
You can read all of Kate's articles at http://ladylovespinstripes.com ...please go check it out!
Sorry I know when the NY Giants won that Superbowl...it is my birthday!!! Total typo!!! Sorry.

Happy belated b-day!
Kate, I'm seeing the word "focus" a lot, but if the word exclusive is in there, I'm not seeing it. Again, no-one's doubting that the site strove to focus on women's sports, but you acted like they were going to be SOLELY discussing women's sports and outraged that they dared talk about your Yankees--although as I pointed out, the months of male-sport coverage prior to didn't seem to raise your ire.
Focusing on women's sports and focusing 100% on women's sports are distinctly different roles.
Hey baseball fans,
Please check out my latest article on the war of words between Texas and the Yankees....
Thank you, I appreciate it!

I will say one thing... it's been easy to spot the true Yankee fans and the bandwagon jumpers the past two weeks.
Your articles "fail" only in the fact they use logic and not the panic let's make stupid moves garbage so many others writers the past couple of weeks seem to want to do.
I wonder what happened to sticking with a team through thick and thin?
Say hello to the new Bronx Bombers, an unlikely era is ahead in 2011. Yankees haters can no longer complain that we out spend everyone in the off season, that we are buying a championship, or that we are the club preventing parody in Major League Baseball. The 2011 baseball season will be a story about how the Yankees became the unlikely underdog, and then proved that we could win with the talent we have. We might be older than most teams, but that 28th title is in the cross hairs. Bring it Red Sox, and if you make it to the Fall Classic, watch out Cliff Lee.
