A Conversation with God re: The Lucky New York Giants
07/22/2009
Once the football bug bites, there is no escape. Even when the economy is going to hell, or North Korea conducts a nuclear test, or al Qaeda is on the move, my pen always return to football, namely the New York Giants. It's worth it.

NFL Network counted down the Top-10 Quarterbacks to have ever been selected number one overall. John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, & Troy Aikman were all placed ahead of Peyton Manning.
But did they deserve to be?
I took a deeper look into the careers of all four quarterbacks to provide a better perspective...

If you have a free moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
Thanks,

I have been monopolizing your board here... sorry... I read your piece on Iran and started writing a comment... then rewrote and rewrote and rewrote until I could no longer think straight about it, but you summed the whole thing up with bomb or don't bomb (we don't have the resources to sustain another durable conflict) and I think you are right in saying if those are the only options, we should attempt diplomacy first for as long as it takes and if it fails...take swift action (i.e. bomb)... I should have just written that on your board...I enjoyed it though... please keep me posted when you put new stuff up there... I'm working on a little political web blog myself... I'll let you know when I put something up there too... what a rambler I am... sorry...

Here is a little tid-bit on my personal favorite Philadelphia Eagle ever. He might not be what most would consider an All-Time favorite but for me, there was something special about that era of Eagles football and the plays that he made.

I guess Iran will have to be more important than football... someday, I will throw my very heavy-hearted feelings on world politics in the ring as well.
